Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 main index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) edged down 0.64% to close Monday at 28,851.23 points.

Likewise, the EGX100 EWI declined by 0.11% to 9,590.94 points and the Shariah index fell by 0.27% to 2,758.83 points.

On the other hand, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI rose by 0.12% to 6,721.73 points.

The turnover amounted to EGP 3.35 billion through the exchange of 916.74 million shares.

In addition, the market cap value of EGX exceeded EGP 1.96 trillion at the end of the session.

As for trading on securities, the foreign and Arab investors were the net sellers with EGP 33.95 million and EGP 11.62 million, respectively.

On the other hand, the Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 45.58 million.
